inspired by a road-trip to Colorado I started writing it on the road and finished in a 3 story cabin in South Park, Colorado on a mountain top at 14,000 elevation probably the highest i've been thus far in my life other than flying.
lyrics
We just want to see the world
so now were this traveling tribe
no need for a job
when you have a few songs
and the power to make people smile
traded my dream job for a dream life
now its greater than great and we decided to stay
on the road
no cash the cars our home
springs we'll bathe
streets we'll play
the melody and rhythm will guide us
i can't believe oh what an eyeful
these memories i'll take
straight to the grave
even find some people to share who care
we must see for ourselves
that money isn't wealth
it's just your happiness and health that make your sadness melt
and you won't believe
where we've been or what we've seen
and i hope you too will take a trip
one that you will never forget
and you'll remember why you love your life
as you drift away into paradise
