I wrote this song in 2013 living in a basement in Ohio. moved back from Hawaii and had to stay somewhere, had to get a job at chipotle making burritos it was winter time and it was the first time i was in the snow for extended periods. This is about keeping yourself inspired when you are losing hope or feel complacent
lyrics
i am stuck again
in the quick sand
gotta get up from here
how can i get outta here
nothing left to lose
nothing left to fear
gotta get up from here
how can i get outta here?
calm down
get a grip
one deep breath
and you won't trip
just think of lessons that you've learned
and in time your life will turn
around today and you will say
thanks for all the things
you've been through and now you crave
better thoughts a better way
i am stuck again
dangling off this cliff
gotta get up from here
how can i get outta here?
nothing left to lose
theres nothing left to fear
gotta get up from here
gotta get up from here
i find the strength to get outta here
