this is one of the first songs that i am proud of writing, i was 15. it started as a punk song in a band i was in 9th grade. the lyrics have changed quite a bit but the tune is still the same.
lyrics
do you know what i was thinking?
this ship called life is sinking
all we gotta do is pick up the pieces
come together and forget about weakness
growing you well there is so much to do
that we've got no time to be rude or get confused
just be who you wanna be
tell the truth
start yelling that shit in the street
singing to a melody about peace and harmony
about what love oughta be
about this abundance surrounding me
dirt on my feet plate full to eat
well thats whats driving me
